Daughters of Charity Health Centers has expanded its footprint to include the thriving practice of veteran pediatrician Dr. Thattil P. Gouri.
Dr. Gouri and his colleague Dr. Angelle Creswell began practicing with Daughters of Charity Health Centers September 1.
During the transition, Dr. Gouri's Westbank office, located at 3215 General Meyer Ave., New Orleans, LA 70114, has remained the same. His Eastbank office, formerly located at 200 S. Broad St., Suite #8, New Orleans, LA 70119, has moved to Daughters of Charity Health Center – Gentilly.

Kenner Peds Practice Relocates to Williams Blvd., Adds New Provider and Adult Med
We’re excited to announce that beginning Monday, April 18 our Kenner Pediatrics practice will begin offering services at 3715 Williams Blvd., Suite 220, Kenner, LA 70065. Our final day of service in the Florida St. location was Tuesday, April 12. In addition, Sophia Thomas, MN, APRN, FNP-BC, PPCNP-BC, FNAP, FAANP will begin practicing at the new Kenner location beginning, Monday, April 25. We are honored to have her and her team join our growing practice.

President/CEO Selected as UNCF NAC Hall of Honor" Honoree
Michael G. Griffin, president and CEO of Daughters of Charity Health Centers and Dillard University alum, will receive the UNCF’s National Alumni Council (NAC) Hall of Honor Award during the philanthropic organization’s Legacy Award Gala in New Orleans Friday. Recipients are selected for this prestigious honor by their respective UNCF alma maters based on their contributions to the institution, their professions and the community.
The Legacy Award Gala is part of a weekend-long conference running February 18-21 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, and featuring a Leaders Luncheon, Career Readiness Day, Miss National UNCF Coronation and more events for UNCF alumni and pre-alumni.

Collaborate in Pediatric Services
In November 2014, Children's Hospital and Daughters of Charity Health Centers (DCHC) signed a collaborative agreement to work together to expand primary pediatric healthcare in the New Orleans area. Children's Hospital’s Kids First locations located Uptown on Prytania Street, in New Orleans East, and in Kenner have recently transitioned to Daughters of Charity Pediatric Clinics. In addition, the Kids First Mid-City clinic has relocated to the Daughters of Charity Health Center at 3201 South Carrollton Ave.
